Our Philosophy

We understand that for many people a visit to the dentist can be very worrying, so every effort is made by our experienced dentistry team to make sure your visits are as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

We believe that people should have a healthy mouth for life & our dentists work with you to achieve this. To keep your smile perfect our dentists do not compromise on the standard of materials and procedures used. With regular check-ups we can prevent the all-too-common cycle of breakdown and repair and help you to maintain a problem-free mouth.

Our high standards have been recognised by the fact that we have been awarded the British Dental Association Good Practice mark.

We also adhere to the Denplan Quality Assurance Scheme, and previously we have been approved as a training practice for postgraduates by the Yorkshire Vocational Training Scheme.

As a member of the BDA Good Practice Scheme the practice has checked that the care we provide for our patients is of the highest standard. To achieve this award we have provided evidence to the BDA that we meet 96 nationally recognised standards of good practice.

• Every member of the practice is aware of the need to work safely under General Dental Council guidelines.

On 25th January we had our first visit from the Care Quality Commission, whose job is to ensure all health care providers are looking after people properly. Here are a couple of comments from the report which will be published on the CQC website soon.
